“I have used the Head ATP tennis ball for a long time and was a little disconcerted when I was no longer able to purchase it, but this ball, the Head Tour, seems to be exactly the same ball under a different name. I feel it could be made more resilient to hard surfaces (especially the tarmac that many British courts are made of, hence the 4 stars), as Head’s Championship ball is much more hard wearing, but overall, the feel and bounce of the Tour ball makes it a great buy. At around £1 per ball when bought by the gross, and with around 6 hours of play before the logo has worn away, it compares very favourably with the opposition.”
