The assembly instructions are really poor, and the accompanying videos on the website not much better. Once it was put together, it has such a bad squeak from one of the wheels on the incline leg (pre-assembled in the factory) that it is currently unusable. Not what I expected for the price.

The levels between 17 and 18 barely change. 19 and 20 are hard enough but I would say that this machine could certainly do with a few higher levels for those that are used to a x trainer and train daily... Slightly disappointing as I was lead to believe that although the machine is pretty basic but well made, no fancy gadgets etc, I would say the levels are not tough enough and the change from 17 to 18 should be more apparent also. Can this be changed at all? Everything else is good.

Excellent . Xterra FS 5.8 e What a well built machine this is ,strong, sturdy, easy to use and vey very quiet. We did a lot of research and all the reviews excellent. It might not be cheap but it's worth every penny. Highly recommended.

Really good cross trainer. Some of the cheaper cross trainers feel a little rickety, but this is solid. Def worth the money

I carried out quite a bit of research on the many options available before choosing the 5.8e model from Xterra. Specifically, I was looking for a cross trainer with an incline function in order to target different muscle groups. The machine is very substantial and feels very sturdy in use, offers a great range of resistance and the motion feels natural. The multiple grip positions on the moving handlebars allow for getting full stretches of the arms when exercising and at maximum incline, it feels like a step climbing exercise which is precisely what I was after. I'm very pleased with this machine and I wouldn't change anything about it. Definitely money well spent!
