Machine had electric fault from day 1, but was useable. Does everything I want it to. Reported fault and it was put right without any delay. Engineer who came out to rectify machine was 1st class. Would give it 5 stars but for the fact that the fault really should have been picked up during inspection at manufacturers. Would recommend machine and SWEATBAND to anyone.

This is the first treadmill that I have ever used and I was surprised how easy it is to use. It also is a hit with my husband! It has given me the opportunity to get fit at home and help with my weightloss programme.

So far so good. This was a free upgrade offer and pleased I took it. Solid construction and not too difficult to put together. Took about 2hours and you will need 2 people. Good running deck cushioning and plenty of easy to navigate options on the control panel.

I had previously had two treadmills whose motors blew after 6 months and 6 weeks respectively so was looking for a more robust machine. I checked out the reviews online and saw that Proform was recognised as a provider of quality machines. I initially selected a different Proform treadmill but was offered the 410i as a free upgrade. Firstly it is a big beautiful machine, twice the size and weight of my previous machines. So not as portable and whilst it does fold, the full size deck only rises to a 45 degree angle so it still occupies significant space. The display is LED (red on black) and scrolls through the various time/ distance/ pace/watts/pulse rate as you use it. I would prefer to fix either the time or distance and leave out the rest but I cant seem to do that. The machine took two of us about 2.5 hrs to assemble and the instructions are quite good. However whilst the machine has numerous different training programs, the instruction booklet makes no mention of how to access these. There are instructions to access iFit which offers online training on subscription but at over £100 per year, i thought it was expensive. I use it every other day and primarily as a way to keep fit and active. So i cant really comment on its potential for serious runners. Overall I think its is a valuable tool in my life which i wouldn't want to be without but I dont think I am using it to its full potential.

Extremely pleased with the Proform Performance 410i Treadmill. The assembly is straightforward but not quick. The instructions are very clear and all the screws nicely vacuum packed on card against the relevant step number. It's definitely a 2 person job as the treadmill is very heavy to unpack and needs supporting during the assembly process. However the end result is an incredibly robust and solid treadmill. The quality of the treadmill is superb and Gym quality far better than you'd expect for a home treadmill. I've used the treadmill 4-5 days a week for the last 3 weeks and have not been disappointed. The action of the running deck is excellent, very smooth and handles speed changes effortlessly (even with a heavy runner like me @ 100kg). The incline function is the same and changes incline at the touch of the button. I've not used the built in programs much but have used the Interval and Recovery settings which allow you to set the desired speed and incline and then swap between them at a touch of a button. Pros: - Great quality and finish. - Functions like a machine you'd expect at the gym. - Amazing value for money. Cons: - Very minor that you can set the display to miles but the preset speeds are always in km (as fixed by the hardware / labels). I've no hesitation in recommending this over many of the 'branded' treadmills.

I did a lot of research prior to buying this, it has everything you need, it is fast enough for a professional runner. My main concern was whether it was fast enough or not, and trust me it is, I have been running on and off for years, and even I can't, yet handle level 16 or 18, the fastest it goes. The incline is fine, putting it together yourself is hard, however I managed it in the end, the instructions aren't that clear! It is a proper treadmill, not some flimsy thing, I am very happy with my purchase. The only downside is, the speakers, which are rubbish, however I just put my Iphone on full volume and even with the treadmill going at high speeds, level 14/16 KPH, you can still hear the music, it also has a tablet holder which I place my I phone on and watch music videos, so I have something to watch and listen to as I run!
