“I am not enjoying my new Proform Pro 1500 Treadmill or the experience of dealing with Sweatband.com. On the agreed delivery date I received a telephone call from the driver to say the delivery would be made in 10 minutes, followed shortly after by a call to say the treadmill was not on the lorry. It took a while to establish that the treadmill had been damaged and needed to be returned. After a further week the treadmill was delivered. We have used the treadmill for a week and it has now stopped working altogether. It has been impossible to get a response (other than automated or standard), from Sweatband and they have not returned a call to date. We are now trying to work with the warranty company who have so far asked us to check the internal wiring connections for a loose wire. As no obvious loose connections could be found they have booked an engineer and then explained there would be a delay of 15+ days before an engineer could visit. If I felt I could rely on Sweatband to collect the item on a pre-arranged day I would ask them to collect the treadmill and give me a refund.”

“Bought proform 1000 treadmill which cost me £1000 l have had it 13 days of which i have used for 9 times now it has packed up. Been in touch with manufactures they cannot give me a date when the part is due in told me to contact sweatband who are not taking phone calls l might as well have kept my old treadmill which at least ran and i would have saved myself £1000 very dissatisfied customer.”

“Good robust machine. Easy to assemble. Easy to follow instructions. I bought three one each for two of my sons who are very good runners and one for my wife and myself to share , we are both over 70. We chose this machine after lots of discussion with hopes it would meet all our needs with us havingsuch a large range of differing abilities. It has a powerful motor, 22k top speed , large tread and many other good features. We considered other machines but this seemed the best value for money. The gentleman from Sweatband whose name was Jovi couldn’t have been more helpful.”

“I recently purchased this as an early Christmas present for my partner so that he can run when the weather’s bad throughout the winter months. He is absolutely over the moon with it. He regularly competes in local events and he’s not stopped raving about how good he thinks it is. I’ve now also started the couch to 5k program and even though I’m new to running I feel really safe on it. I’m very pleased as this was definitely the right choice for both of us.”
