“I took my time choosing which Multi Gym to buy as I am new to this market. I decided to go for this one based on other reviews and the weight amount it can hold. I found Sweatband to be the cheapest by far and after I placed my order online I shortly received a phone call from them to organise delivery which they could do next day for free! It does say that the courier will take away all the empty boxes but when I asked the courier this they said they have never done this before and its not for them do do. A little disappointing but really no big deal. I built the gym over a few nights on my own after work and I would guess at 4-5 hours taking my time. The instructions were clear and easy to follow and was able to build the full gym with no assistance. Using the gym is very easy and the quality of the product is clear to see and defiantly worth the little extra money to its competitors and all exercises are easy to perform and very smooth operation. Unfortunately the Multi Gym does not come with and documentation on what exercises you can do on it for which body part, which did surprise me but I contacted Kettler direct and they emailed me through the booklet in PDF form (quite poor quality though) which I was able to build my training routine from Overall very pleased with the purchase and would recommend to other users”

“After a lot of research and comparison I chose the Kettler Multigym and for Sweatband as the supplier. I had previously bought a Kettler table tennis table which is still is excellent condition after 4 years of use, so I felt Kettler use good quality components and have good designs. The purchase and delivery process from Sweatband was exemplary with good information and two men delivering the well packaged multigym in 5 boxes. The build took about 3 hours by one person and the instructions are good enough if you are competent at following visual only directions. The main parts are well labelled and the connecting pieces are on vacuum packed sheets with clear labels. I chose the more expensive multigym for two reasons: the extra weights and the top pull down pulley for abs. Having used the gym for a couple of months I am pleased about the extra weights but rarely use the top pulley. The operation of the unit is excellent and as smooth as the pro gym machines costing 8x as much. The cables have not stretched since initial bedding in. Kettler have designed this to fit in a normal room (its about 6' 6"" tall) which means it is slightly compromised compared to pro machines. I am 6'3"" and my feet jam on the bottom strut when doing leg extensions wearing trainers. The lat pull-down is also too short for full extension. I think my height is probably the limit for this machine. The gym is supplied with four handles/attachments which can connect to three pulley points - unfortunately only two caribiners are supplied which means a lot of changing over in a session or buying extras. However my complaints are minor and not worth taking away a star and I can really recommend this multigym, Kettler products generally and Sweatband as a supplier.”
