"The Kettler Cross P elliptical cross trainer provides an efficient workout with its 12 different programmes and electrically controlled brake system offering 16 levels of resistance. The LCD display provides feedback on time, distance, speed, RPM and energy consumption. Heart rate is measured via hand sensors and integrated Polar receiver. The machine is 150cm (59'') long, 68cm (27'') wide and 169cm (66.5'') high. The maximum user weight is 130kg (287lbs)."

“Ordered this online and chose to assemble it myself. Like most things these days, the assembly instructions are a series of diagrams with numbers and arrows to assist. With one exception, quite early on in the process, the assembly was quite simple and straight forward. Just take your time and identify the washers and screws before you commit. Once assembled, the unit runs quietly and smoothly. It is still early days, but I am still learning how to use the programs and display unit, not initially straight forward to someone unfamiliar with this equipment. The display is LCD and not backlit, which is a shame. This particular item seems to have ended production as we got it on offer for a great price.”

“This was a first purchase of this type of machine and after receiving some assurance on Kettler quality from Sweatband and comparing prices/features/reviews, we took the plunge and not disappointed. Quality is very good and large flywheel makes for smooth operation. Assembly took over 2 hrs and not for the feint hearted. Not mastered the programmes yet. Manual, simple mode is fine for now. Good delivery service from Sweatband.”

“The machine was quite easy and enjoyable to put together. It appears to be very well built with large and chunky components. In use I am very pleased with it. It certainly gives a good workout and seems every bit as good as some of the Gym machines I have used. The only slight downside is the lack of pulse sensors on the swing arms but this is common with most machines at this price point. This though is catered for by the Polar receiver and since it comes with a free Polar chest belt pulse can still be measured without moving to the centre sensors. The bonus of the free mat and polar chest strap makes this purchase very desirable.”
