"The DKN AM-E exercise bike is equipped with an 8kg (17.6lbs) flywheel ensuring quiet operation and offers 32 levels of resistance enabling you to adjust the intensity of each workout. The AM-E's console offers feedback on the most important workout statistics including time, speed, distance, calories, pulse, recovery, Watts and RPM, while the heart rate can be measured with the pulse grip sensors or a wireless receiver with an optional chest strap. The exercise bike features a manual, 12 pre-set programmes, as well as a user mode, target HR mode and a Watt mode to help you achieve the training goals faster."

“I have not ridden an exercise bike before. The ordering and delivery worked well especially considering the transport issues worldwide. Unfortunately the drive belt came off the crank wheel. I informed Sweatband who immediately offered a replacement. The replacement had significantly less resistance than the initial bike and has worked perfectly since. They look well made. I am very pleased and the customer service was magnificent.”

“This is a great piece of quality kit. Usual study DKN build that gives it a real quality feel. However..... Building looks simple but the instructions miss out a couple of key small things that are important, so far then really carefully about 5 times before you trial build. Then build it”

“I am posting a second review to try to get an answer to a question. After about 10 minutes exercise the screen goes to E 5 and all the data is lost. Has anyone else had/fixed this problem?”

“The bike arrived well packed and complete. From very carefully opening the box, in case a return was needed, to getting on the bike took an hour. I have used it on manual and programme one so far. Don’t judge me I only got the bike today! It is very quiet with the only noise being a slight whirring as it automatically changes the resistance up or down. I am a svelte 6ft 2inch 114 kilogram male and I find the bike comfortable. I would also add that the service I have received from sweatband has been excellent. All in all a good experience.”

“Sturdily built bike that is a pleasure to use. The auto tension adjust is great and a good selection of built in program profiles. The back/toward and height adjustment of the seat coupled with handle bars that can be adjusted for rake ensures that people of all seizes should be able to achieve a suitable riding position. I was originally looking for a bike within a £200 budget but I have no regrets in paying the extra for this one.”

“Ordered this bike on Tuesday and was already here by Thursday lunchtime, after unpacking it only took about twenty minutes to assemble. Started using it almost straight away, so far I have only used the manual programme but once I have built up my fitness will start using the built in programmes which seem easy enough to set up. As for the actual quality of the bike all I can say is WOW so well built, sturdy and better than many bikes that you find in some gyms and that comes from my two sons who are both keen gym members. I will also add that I am not a small chap but this bike copes without any problems what so ever.”

“Bought this last week and delivery was very quick. Assembly fairly straight forward, even for an old guy. This is a very good bike for keeping me fit now that the gym is closed. Great quality at a very good price.”

“The bike is excellent. It was really easy to put together but you do need to follow the instructions properly - it only took me about 30 minutes to unpack and get the bike set up. The gel seat is a lot more comfortable than the ones I've used at the gym. It doesn't take up a lot of room and is easy to move around.”
