“After years of being so uncomfortable whilst walking and quite unable to find good supportive boots I am over the moon with these. Followed advice to gently get used to them and several people have not only noticed that I am walking better but love the style too! This is my second pair of 'Strives' in as many weeks and will be back for more, thankyou.”
“These (black) boots are fantastic. I'm recovering from a knee injury and was worried how I'd managed on a recent city break. After wearing these in for a few days before we left, I was able to walk further on our trip than I've been able to since before my accident. “I usually wear a size 5 or 5.5 in strive footwear but had to go up to a size 7 in this style which was quite frustrating and is the reason for 4 stars in stead if 5. Having said that I'm glad that I persevered because these boots are beautifully soft, snuggly and comfortable.”

“I really want a pair of Strive boots but cannot find a pair that fits my foot. In Strive sandals I take a 5 which is a perfect fit as a consequence I have 4 pairs. I want to do the same for winter and so have tried several different pairs of boots, the Whitby was one. I have a high instep and am 76, so my mobility is not as good as it was, but I find these boots extremely difficult to get my foot into and when I have managed it the I find the zip position, on the outside of the ankle rather than inside, is very difficult to use. I am so disappointed; I want a boot that is easy to get on so that I can enjoy Strive comfort in winter and summer.”
“I love what they look like but I could not get the laces to a comfortable place where the zip closed easily but where the back wasn't slightly slipping as I moved. I could see blisters happening. If I tightened the laces to stop the slipping at the back the boots were then too tight on my ankles when the zip was closed. It wasn't a sizing issue as any smaller and I wouldn't have got them on. It's such a shame as they are gorgeous looking. Sadly they are going back.”
