“First SampS purchase. Ordered the safari box, got a three pairs of neon knickers and one yellow zebra pair. There was a note inside saying that theyd oversold the safari box so were sending these instead and I could return if I didnt want them. Thats all very well but I have a chronic illness and live miles from a post box. Its lots of effort for me to return things as a result. Id have preferred an email asking what Id like to do rather than send me something I didnt ask for and then expect me to go out of my way to sort it.
I realise SampS are trying to do the right thing here, but I dont think its been that well thought through. Not everyone lives near a post office, not everyone is able to get there easily.
So, in short, Im not that chuffed with the service/approach. The knickers are nice enough, Ive kept them given the hassle it would be to return them but Id be thinking carefully about buying anything from here in future.”
