Resident evil is my favorite game series so I was beyond excited to find the board games. Resident evil one has some new gameplay styles that differ from 2 and its absolutely brilliant. We're having a lot of fun playing one dangerous zombie and enemy Wesker mode.

Another nice expansion to an ever evolving series of games. I have the previous games in the series and although it has managed to keep the same basic mechanics (which work very well) they have always managed to refine and add to these in each game which for me has kept away that feeling of deja-vu. I really like the fact that you cannot just pile through blazing away......and survive!. The mechanics manage to balance fun and tesion really well for a board game. This expansion adds some more enemies and playable characters plus some additional cards for each of the decks in the main game which is nice. I haven't used them in a game yet as I like to paint things first. Is it an essential expansion? probably not but it adds colour and depth to the theme (and I can always use more miniatures!). Keep up the good work SFG.

Phenomenal board game. Plays so much like the original Video game. Will definitely be getting the other expansions.

As someone who loves options, and especially those of the 'what-if' scenario types, the Director's Cut had me grinning like a kid again when I popped it open. Even more important than that, though, was not missing out on monsters that it would frankly feel strange not having (like the Chimeras--or even the crows!), or characters whose absence felt particularly odd--like a playable Wesker, of course. Having played through both RE2 and RE3--and currently working through RE1--I can't say as there'd be much more SFG could do to please me on this, save for letting some more Kickstarter Exclusives out for the rest of us that missed the campaigns!
