Absolutely amazing game i'd give a 9/10. Really encapsulated the experience of playing Dark Souls, except for a few details. The overall gameplay is complex but easy enought to grasp in a single playing session, the encounters are diverse and challenging. The whole game is very "Preparet To Die"- coded, since it doesnt give much advantage if not any to the player itself and even the simplest encounters can be very bad if you're unlucky. Is not a 10/10 because or some details that threw me off the Dark Souls inmersion. Although the encounter's flavour text, the manual's ancient-like style of writing is extremely on point, some stats, weapons and mobs are kinda out of place, the (literally) biggest example is the sentinel, wich is from Dark Souls 2, that really threw me off the dark souls 1 immersion. Other than that little caviat, is a game i'd recommend to ANYONE, even the ones that haven't played Dark Souls, since its a Dark Fantasy game anyone that likes that setting can enjoy, and is a really personalized experience with every little bit customized for the game's immersion.

The game is truly a very nice adaptation of the video game, it follows all the events that actually happen during the digital counterpart, but the problem is in the manual, very often it's unclear and terms are referenced to another expansion of the same boardgame. A simple exampleor tutorial for newcomers would be necessary to not spend nearly two hours for understanding the events sequence. it would be helpful a quick reference for game mechanics too. But when you manually write it down by yourself, the game is nice and enjoyable.
