These recycled rubber wheel stops are made from car and truck tyres which prevent many used tyres being disposed of . The CarStop tyre stops are 1000mm long and have three fixing points along their length. They are part of a larger range which includes coach, and truck variants. It features a bright yellow band across the top to ensure that drivers can easily spot the stopper. Installation is very easy requiring only a drill, ratchet, tape measure and PPE equipment. There is no digging required, which in turn means no waste to be disposed of. We recommend for cars to place the stops approximately 900mm from the back of the parking space. How Many CarStops do I Require? You will require two of these wheel stops per parking bay. Generally, they are positioned next to each other to produce a long 2-metre parking stop. This is ideal for 99.9% of UK vehicles. An alternative method is to lay them to the edges of the bay with a small gap in the centre. The two options can be seen attached.
