Good shocks for the price - obviously livelier than the very good stock setup you get on a Cooper S but a little lowering has made for a more surefooted cornering experience and a more solid feel in general. Even with the fronts set as high as possible the car sits a little lower and can be set VERY low. Only real criticism is that the tool provided for adjustment is useless. Its curvature doesn't match that of the adjuster ring so it does nothing to turn them under any pressure. I modified mine by drilling a hole in the centre and adding a piece of metal to create a kind of opposable thumb, which fits into grooves of the adjuster ring and works well, but such modifications shouldn't be necessary.
