“The ink is advertised to last for 2 years has lasted me for 4 before I finally had to buy a new pad.
Once on the label the ink lasts very well, minimal fading, after a year of weekly washing it still looks like new and after 2 years has barely faded. If you intend to pass things down you can just have a surname stamp but I didn’t think about that at the time so have two stamps (also expected the ink to fade when I first brought it) or stamp over the original name to blur that stamp then stamp again in a new area (this is what I do) Really happy with how the stamp lasts on clothes labels and even in shoes (when the inner sole is not black)”
