“I absolutely love the impementation in the apollo ecosystem. It takes away almost all of the small inconveniences I had with sound id. I feel however some small improvements could be made on the metering. When correcting for the headroom, it would be great to if there was an option to recalibrate the metering in console and the uad hardware to a virtual 0 again. Also, I have to re enable the room correction everytime I plug my laptop in to my studio. And I wish the Sound Id app, and selecting your osx output would be a bit smoother. It would feel more logically to just select the apollo, now it forces me to using the sonarworks output and sometimes hangs or glitches out a bit. However, these are minor issues, overall a great expierence and upgrade to the sound id expierence.”
“ok. i like the product... just one thing you should improve together with universal audio. when i turn on the mac and start UAD console...i have to "turn on" the acoustic correction...i would like it to remain active..”

“I'm only writing about the add on here: This add on was looooong awaited and I really hoped it would be useful. For amatures sure, and even some professionals with the specific workflow this add on caters for. For most professional mixers and mastering folks who work on more than one set of speakers via the alt or function buttions, its a waste of money and time. If you were imagining this would allow you to switch between calibbration profiles as part of your normal muti-speaker apollo workflow - unfortunatly not so. And if you use a slaved apollo twin or x4 as a monitor controler alongside a rack unit, those convinient desktop headphone outputs are not going to be calibrated either. These limitations make for a fairly poor user experience. A real shame. Back to midi trigers and heavy CPU loads we go...”
“Seemless addition with an already amazing software-hardware integration. Does exactly what it needs to to, nothing more nothing less. The ability to have unique correction curves for monitors and headphones is a massive upgrade and as the website says it truly makes it "set and forget". Light DSP-usage for a fantastic quality improvement. Also resonable priced!
