Thanks to sonarworks and its integration with apollo, I can now eq my yamaha hs8 monitors. The very equing monitors concept that i have completly forgot about, which is a great option to have or at least to try out. the reference id is very easy to use and i am planning a room accoustic treatment based on the result of it. The dry and wet button for calibration eq and the integration with the apollo was a big selling point for me. i've tried it with presonus prm1 with no calibration file and the result of the two tests that i've done seem coherent when moving significant object around. I haven't compared it yet to REW results. One thing i would recommend to you is maybe to offer the possibility to make a less precise measurement without all the 40 positions mic, which last 20 minutes. Giving that i'm planning to install a lot of panels in my room, i would really like to make quick tests as i make installations to see the differences i'm making to the room response. a 5 or 10 minutes test with less mic positionning as an option maybe ? I don't know, you are the pros.. other than that i give 9/10 for now, i need to test at least one mix of mine with the sonarwork eq enabled , on multiple support.. Thank you for making this product and this collab with universal audio !

it's just an add-on, but a game changer. You make your measurments for speakers, download a profile for your headphones, and then you can forget the software. The add-on brings it to the Apollo console, you have all the main controls inside the console. It works on the dsp of your Apollo, no more latency and you don't have to open plugin in your daw. Really great.

I now love it in my Apollo system, some aspects improve the workflow. The only thing I miss is the ability to seamlessly switch target profiles back and forth, which I sometimes do in the app (Flat, Avantone, Airpods, Car, etc). Other than that, I truly believe you've changed the game for many of us home producers/mixers.

this is a game changer for someone who is an existing Apollo and SoundID user. 2 things that are a massive workflow improvement: 1. you can monitor your inputs with room correction now, it gives you way more confident when recording, before that you need to do a very complicated routing in your DAW. 2. you don't need to add the SoundID plugin at the end of your DAW chain now. It's a small thing, but massive workflow becuase you don't need to worry about bypassing the plugin when exporting. 100% would recommend this.

Since I use my Apollo for all sound output it's cool to have the correction always active on the speakers or the headphones, no matter which application I use. And I don't have to enable/disable it in my DAW while bouncing the mixdown or stems because the correction takes place outside the DAW at the end of the hardware-chain.

The Apollo Add-on is so much more streamlined and convenient. It's now a set and forget which I love. Makes a big difference to my mixing workflow

Using my sonar works on my UA Apollo is a great upgrade to my set up. It allows me to run my headphone referencing software without using any CPU power and is always available with one click rather than loading a plug-in. I highly recommend this for any Apollo X user. It is a little costly but if you wait for a sale, it’s a good value.
