Got a new Apollo and got the Sonarworks Apollo add-on. I was surprised how tighter it sounds, but also how much tighter it feels when pluging in an instrument, or playing something through MIDI. Worth every penny, both for the hardware and the add-on. My mixes have translated well to other systems after I started using Sonarworks a number of years ago, but not having to use the systemwide is such a welcome upgrade to both how it sounds and feels in use.

It’s great for making and recording music, you can get a flat clean sound so you don’t have to back-track after listening to your work on another different set of speakers. A definitely game changer.

It was easy to set up. I have one critique: The systemwide software and the plug in that I used to run on the master fader gave me the flexibility to change the headroom. I can't change that now that it's running from the Apollo. I would love the ability to change that from the Apollo side.

The Apollo Monitor Correction Add-on is definitely worth it as it allowed me to play my midi instruments without significant delay that I was experiencing without the Add-on. It also allows me to have simultaneous calibration profiles for my monitors and headphones, so I didn’t have to keep changing that manually when switching between them.
