Sorry to hear the product options and upgrades were a bit confusing! It is possible to upgrade certain licenses to a different product edition or upgrade legacy licenses to SoundID Reference. It is also possible to purchase the full SoundID Reference licenses if you're a new user, this way avoiding additional upgrades (or until you decide you would like to upgrade).
