“Some things such as systemwide stability and the beta feature still need improvement, but it's great to see them being improved. Also the new simulated referencing environments are suuuper helpful”
“SoundID reference is a terrific upgrade from an already excellent product (Reference 4). It’s absolutely essential to my workflow, and is well worth it. Note however that if you upgrade from Reference 4, it requires a few additional manual steps to uninstall Reference - but there is a clear how-to doc on their site to walk you through it.”
“Been using SoundID Ref. for about a week. Seems a lot like the Ref. 4 Headphone was. Slight sound drop-offs and little annoyances on channel input selection on RME audio interface seems to have gone - good! Latecy is OK. Tray icon on Win10 is black - why? VST plugin works as fine as the last one. Solid update, but not 100 % necessary, if you are perfectly happy with Ref. 4.”
“So much better function and compatibility with my computer sound card works seamlessly with all my external audio outputs and automatically, the calibration sound pretty accurate and forces you to fit all the elements in the mix in mono and stereo. Glad to make the upgrade”
