A no-brainer for me, reference is the first plugin I use on every project. The upgrade process from Reference 4 to Sound ID was smooth and installed alongside Reference 4 so it didn't break all my existing projects.

I had to upgrade because of missing vst3 support. But the improved user experience and the extended number of supported headphones is worth it, too.

Couldn't use it lol but I still recommend if you have a Reference 3 or 4 license that could be upgraded.

Amazing software. Makes producing and mixing music at home possible. I feel much more confident that I am hearing things correctly without having to pay for a fully treated room.

The sound ID is great for a reference check. Bounce your mix and check it in sound ID using there simulations

I used Sonarworks Reference for years and its SoundID update is an improvement on the concept. I hope that the team will support more and more headphones and that the Systemwide application will get improved under certain aspects that may be better from a UX point of view. Hopefully, the customization of your custom profile will get a tiny bit deeper in the future as well providing the best freedom to the end user.

The upgrade was not really necessary for me at this point. I am facing more technical problems than before. But i hope they will be fixed soon ;)

I upgraded because of more possibilities to change the EQ. More flexibility, not only treble/bass.
