SonarWorks is an essential tool to get your headphones and speakers balanced just right, so you can trust your ears more. Especially the headphone profiles are on point, and will help remove those unnatural and lacking frequencies that can mess up a production. Besides, the latency and performance is good enough to hardly notice it is there, even when playing in real time (in zero latency mode). I would not be able to do my work anymore without this tool.

I struggle getting the right mix for certain percussive instruments like shakers. I have to resort to studio monitors.

EXCELLENT product. Within the first day of my purchase, I finally finished the mix I had been struggling with for a week in terms of translation to other speakers.

Perfect setup for working with headphones when needing a neutral response similar to speakers and completely endgamed me in terms of equalizing my headphones. I spent several months on and off eq'ing my headphones using another software and immediately SoundID produced a better result, in more ways than just adjusting the frequency response. I'm not sure what makes this different than applications like equalizer apo but even with the same calibration settings SoundID is much much more natural sounding. I found the whole use process of SoundID straight forward and easy to follow, though the calibration views are a little confusing at first, I would also like to know what target Sonarworks is using. I had to do some digging on my own Sonarworks forums to find that it is an in house target similar to Harman 2015. I use SoundID with a crossfeed plugin and it produces better results than studio monitors in a semi treated room, especially if you are lacking a subwoofer or need to keep the volume down.

To mix in my headphones and know that the mix and sounds I hear are in the same way that I´m going to hear in another environment. I can finally trust my mix!

I used to think my studio was just fine - until I tried Sonarworks SoundID Reference. Holy acoustic revelation! This software is like having a whole team of acoustics experts in your computer. It analyzed my room and calibrated my sound to perfection. It's like getting a personal concert hall - without the annoying coughs and shuffles of an audience. But the best part? No more fighting with my producer friend over whose ears are the most reliable. We can both use SoundID Reference and know we're hearing the same thing. It's like the world's tiniest peace treaty. Seriously, if you're tired of second-guessing your mixes and want to take your sound to the next level, give Sonarworks SoundID Reference a whirl. It's a game-changer.
