“The product is designed to remove colouration from whatever headphones you're using to mix our music and i can honestly say that the benefits of being able to hone into the fine detail of the music, without worrying about sound colour bias is liberating. I don't have it on all the time, but when it comes to critical decisions and wrapping up a project, it's immediately switched on. It's easy to use, easy to understand and does the job very well.”
“It made such a difference having a 21 day trial period to not only test the plugin in multiple DAWs (Ableton and Pro Tools in my case), but with my headphones, and to be able to see what other headphones it's compatible with.
Also I love the feature of being able to hear my mix through other environments such as cars, earpods, etc. My mixes improved overnight and made this software a must-own...which I now do!”
“in a tight spot, headphones are your only friend, soundID is the best way to complete your project with confidence that it will sound right and tight.”
“Previously I was sceptical about SoundID Reference but this plugin has definitely blown itself out of the water. I always had an issue mixing at my home studio, and due to my lack of monitors I’ve been using headphones. Before using SoundID Reference I’d find myself working twice as hard and twice as long because of the extra time being used to correct my at home mixes when in studio. Not only has this plugin worked great to improve my mixing it’s also useful when just listening to music especially if you’re an audiophile interested in tonality specificity and the overall Spatial Audio. I have honestly already recommended this plugin to several other music and film producers and they love it as well. I will continue to recommend this plugin to anybody.”
“It is indeed a very good product if you want to flatten out the response of your headphones.
However, the standalone application has some issues, which prevents me from giving 5 stars.
The plugin version works as intended in Cubase.”
