Great Software! Especially the Virtual Monitoring Plugin in Addition to Reference is very great for headphones! I had some Problems with the Hal driver, but there was a Solution in the faqs.

I’ve been using planar magnetic headphones to mix and master for a while now. The clarity and stereo image is amazing. But my midrange was always coming out harsh. Reference ID had a profile for my headphones (hifiman sundera) and ever since, I’ve been making better eq decisions. It’s very very noticeably different.

Enjoying Sonaworks and the flat response, dolby and other environments as well as the virtual monitoring that it brings. Understand that the company is working on a fix for the clicking that occasionally occurs when using 48kHz or more on Windows 11 platform. Otherwise, glad to have picked up this software on sale and use it for my mixing.

SoundID Reference for Headphones made my Hifiman Sundara and Sennheiser 560S sound much better. They are now a joy to listen. No more bad sound characteristics but well behaving and lively sounding. Can customize the sound your own way too if want to. Bonus for matching the EQ for Dolby Atmos / Music for headphones.
