“I hate to sound like a commercial, but yes Sonar Works for headphones is GREAT! I use the Neumann NDH20s and the correct for a flat responsiveness does make a difference as the NDH20s are bass heavy. This difference has helped with better translation when playing music in the car. Also, I like the mono function which I primarily edit and mix my music in, checking for stereo width periodically. The one and only criticism I have is the simulated listening, like car stereo or cell phone, which I find are not an accurate representation and when comparing to the real thing will not translate as well; I would just take the time to compare with the real thing. Overall, worth the price.”
“Excellent product: it really turned my Bowers & Wilkins P7 headphones into a studio quality instrument. Love the ease of use and the choice of either linear phase or zero latency settings. Next step could be some way of measuring and customize eq for each user’s head/ear canal.”
“I heard of SonarWorks from a YouTuber named SixteenMono, who used it in a mix of a song that I love. I decided to get the free trial, and I was not disappointed at all with how articulate and precise the software was in catching all the harsh frequencies that I wouldn't have heard. I use the headphone version, but I find it to be the best because I usually mix with my headphones anyway. For any of my friends who are interested in mixing, I would recommend this software due to how powerful it is. It will transform a mediocre mix into an expert one”
“Ok. Absolutely amazing tool. It had given me so much confidence to be able to do the work that I do on different devices and monitoring solutions. Truly a game changer for my audio workflow.”
