Due to the limitations of my studio, opting for headphones was the best current choice. I knew I needed to do what I could to support my monitoring being that it’ll currently be mainly from headphones. Reference ID supports this very easily. It simply does what I need it to do. I’m sure there are much more sophisticated ways to use the technology too which I look forward to exploring when I become more adept. The support centre is also very responsive to questions. Big ups!

I’m using Neumann NDH 20 on the go. It really helps me a lot to determine midrange and tame some of the excessive low end of the headphone. It would be great if 64audio iems are available.

ohne SoundID für Kopfhörer würde ich mich beim Mix klanglich komplett verlaufen.

I've always had trouble getting a flat resposne and decent stereo imaging from Beyerdynamic DT 770. But with SoundID Reference, I can now enjoy audio without the lack of bass and harsh mid-highs that are charactersitc of many of Beyerdynamic headphones!

I bought a new pair of headphones and think they sound great but they have more emphasis in the high frequency range than I really want. Rather than send the headphones back and potentially end up in a cycle of buying and returning headphones over-and-over, I tried out the SoundID demo and it definintely seemed to counteract that emphasis I was hearing. It sounded very clean too, transparent. I'm using the Mixed mode, since I did sense a quality difference in Zero Latency mode. With SoundID I essentially have the option to switch between a normal listening and a heightened listening mode, which is nice.
