“I use the calibration for the dt 880 pro and i must say I do love it. The calibration makes my mixes better. HOWEVER: the calibrated dt 880 pro sound totally different to the calibrated dt 770 pro which gives me no confidence in either calibration. I bought the product for myself just recently but I have been using it at work for more that a year. This leaves me clueless about whether I just got used to the calibrated sound and that being the reason fo the better mixes or whether they are actually calibrated in a good way. I must add that the two headphones i mentioned sound different with calibration on all levels. Taking into account possible diffrences in terms of construction there are still MAJOR differences for I can only assume neither of them received a good calibration. Considering you promise of flat calibration adjusted to human hearing these headphones can only disappoint me. I hope you can step up your calibration game. Btw the calibrated dt 880 pro must have more lowend below 100hz and a weak midrange comparing to the calibrated 770 pro which must result in db diffrences between the two of around 6db. Aside all other differences in sound I truly wonder how that came about. This is unexplainable.”
