“I'm using Sonarworks Voice AI since a couple of days and must say this is an awesome piece of software. The Installation is, as usual without any problem. And the handling within the DAW (Cubase in my case) is very easy. The bandwidth of various voices fulfills almost all requirements and the result is perfect. Even a good trained singer has a hard time to judge if the voice is natural or from VoiceAI.”
“Rarely have I enjoyed writing a review for a product as much as I do now. I produce a bit of hip-hop, some house, and occasionally rock in my home studio. I’m fortunate to work with a singer who is really good—she sounds professional, even though she isn’t technically one; it’s more of a semi-professional setup for us. Regardless, I’ve always been looking for a solution where I could either sing myself with my poor voice or generate voices for my music through text input. I’ve been scouring the market for years without finding a solution. I can’t sing, but I have a sense of rhythm and am musical. So, I wanted to find something that could match my needs and improve my bad voice. With the advent of new AI programs, it seems like the time has finally come, and I was searching for something that could be used as a VST or AU plugin. I found a relatively new product that promised real-time processing. I use a Mac Mini M4 Pro with 64GB RAM and a 20-core GPU, but despite this, the real-time feature didn’t work. I bought a yearly license and was very disappointed—lots of crackling and significant latency. Even when I sang normally and applied the plugin afterward, the preview sounded terrible. So, I kept searching and, through ChatGPT, actually found a product called Sonaworks VoiceAi. This is exactly what I was looking for: an affordable, permanent license that I can use on my own computer. I’m extremely satisfied with the results. All the voices sound relatively similar, but they differ in important characteristics, which is fine. When I apply female voices to my male voice, I’m not entirely satisfied yet—it often sounds too artificial after transposing. But on a scale of 1 to 10, I’d say it’s a 7, and I’m already happy to use parts of it. What makes me completely happy, though, is the application of male voices. I found a voice that fits me perfectly, and you can still recognize the character of my singing and my voice. In FL Studio, I can control how much of the Sonaworks AI voice I want to mix in. My vocal chain looks like this: first Melodyne, then Sonaworks VoiceAI, and finally Auto-Tune. Together, it’s perfect. What I wish for in the future is that the generated audio material could be rendered as a finished audio file or sample directly in the audio track. But that’s not a big deal. Rarely has a plugin been so important to me. I’m living it and thanking the developers. It’s a game-changer for me, and the price is brilliant—very affordable. I don’t have a big budget, so I’m happy with the pricing policy. I’m using the permanent license. Thanks also for allowing the voices to be published royalty-free.”
“Exelente plugin! Apesar de ter algums problemas como o delay que as vezes aparece após uma voz já ter sido processada, e o fato de (atualmente) a instalação precisar ser feita no disco C para que o plugin funcione corretamente, é uma ótima ferramenta para produção criativa!”
“A practical and elegant software that supports you in different types of work: from quickly testing new ideas to creating demos for clients. In some contexts it can also be used in complete final productions.”
“It is a decent AI voice changer, since it does it not in realtime, the quality of the transformation is quite impressive. Going to uset it already in one of my next music!”
“The results are not good because the generated voices are very erratic and usually do not match the voices from "this is my voice" in terms of pitch. I realize that you can make settings in this regard, but these make the result even more unusable. I am very unsatisfied. A well-balanced pitch correction would be desirable. Please send me an answer. Thank you.”
