“Beware of paying 100 euros extra in customs and duties if you are purchasing for shipping to the European Union. Up until paying for the purchase, customer service is responsive and helpful but once you make the payment, I have received zero responses to my emails. My purchase was made in December (PRE-brexit) and I was notified that shipping outside of the UK (to the rest of Europe) was paused, and they would notify me when shipping will proceed. In January, they proceeded to ship the crib to us in Spain without notifying me of any 'changes.' DHL contacted me that the company has put the value of the shipment as $0 which is not possible, requesting for the invoice paid (total €250 crib + mattress protectors). I contact Snuz to ask how to proceed and if the crib was made in the UK to see if there was a way around the duties, no answer. DHL slaps me with a bill of €106 (administration fee, plus customs and duties). I contact Snuz with this information, no response. If I had known about this additional €106, I would have cancelled the transaction (free cancellation was an option offered when I was inquiring about the crib with potential shipping delays). I've followed up with them several more times via different channels and still haven't received a response in over 3 weeks. Having received no responses, I paid the duties to receive the crib. My baby can come any day and I don't have this kind of time to continue following up and stressing about this. The experience has been incredibly disappointing.”
