“Superb quality, perfect fit and so much better than pu leather or plastic. Also seems to grip in your pocket with no chance of it falling out. Second case I’ve had, the last one lasted for about three years and had been dropped, wet through, stood on and covered in mortar! Numerous times and eventually split the outer layer. The inner layer is still intact and works fine but I wanted a clean one”

Hi Fred, Thank you for your review & for your purchase with us, and I'm sorry to hear that you are not completely happy with the finish of your case! Our Vintage Leather Wallet cases are made from a soft Nubuck leather, which can sometimes be similar to suede at first, and especially when new they will naturally show marks which will add to the character. Primarily, nubuck is thicker than suede, so far more durable. To the touch, suede feels more velvety and nubuck tends to feel a little more like leather. Nubuck also tends to be less porous, which you won’t see at first sight, but you’ll appreciate, as it’s easier to maintain. Over time and with regular use, the top layer of leather will begin to wear down and the case will develop a rich & smooth patina finish. Wear on each of our cases will vary depending on its use, which will add to the unique character of your case. I hope this helps however please do contact us with any further enquiries 😊. “Excellent case, phone is held snugly whilst keeping the buttons easily accessible. Being able to carry cards is great as I don’t need a separate wallet; need to give them time for the leather to loosen then I can get 2 cards in each slot, and the inside area is great for receipts. This is my third cover from Snakehive and I will always come back.”
