“I’m extremely happy with my SE 2020 case. It’s very attractive. As described, the black case is neubuck leather, and is of great quality. The magnetic clasp is strong and offers good protection. Really lovely case, I definately recommend. This is the 2nd snake hive case I have bought, as I got one for my dad years ago and his is still in great condition.”

“I was originally pleased with the wallet But after having it for a few weeks it does show up a lot of marks, which doesn’t look very nice. I think I should have chosen a leather wallet so it always looks smart and clean.”

Hi Mary, Thank you for your review and for sharing your feedback with us. We're glad to hear you were initially pleased with the wallet, though we're sorry to hear about the marks that have appeared over time. Our Vintage Leather Wallet cases are made from a soft Nubuck leather, which can sometimes be similar to suede at first, and especially when new they will naturally show marks which will add to the character. Over time and with regular use, the top layer of leather will begin to wear down and the case will develop a rich & smooth patina finish. Wear on each of our cases will vary depending on its use, which will add to the unique character of your case. To clean your case we recommend that you carefully wipe the cover with a nubuck or similar soft cloth using a circular motion. Brush with a nubuck brush to remove dirt and dust. Spray a cloth with a nubuck cleaner, from leather retailers or online, and work well into the leather but do not over saturate the material. Allow to dry thoroughly and then use brush to restore the nap to its original condition. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions or concerns—we’re always here to help! “After my previous Snakehive phone case wore out (after MANY years), I ordered another. It's good, but one of the card slots has excess glue that keeps rubbing off onto my credit card. Before I'm able to use it (if "tap" isn't available), I have to remove glue.”
