“High quality leather and well-made case - the stand is very useful - the case allows charging using a magnetic pad but the magnet is not strong enough to support the phone on an Apple deskstand”

“Love the case and the wee stand so I don't have to prop my phone against things when I use FaceTime. It is also substantial around the rim. Previous case ( not a snake hive) was loose and floppy.”

“Nice quality case, great colour (ocean blue) and I like the little stand at the back - very useful. The price is not too bad. The downside - the case is a very tight fit which makes it incredibly difficult to get the phone out of, but most importantly it is absolutely NOT ‘Magsafe’ compatible for charging. I have tried a few times and it just won’t charge through the case. Once, I thought the connection worked so left it overnight. In the morning I had less than 10% battery so it hadn’t worked at all. So back to the Apple phone cases which 100% work for a MagSafe charge, and save this case for ‘high days and holidays’. Disappointing. If that part could be improved, it would be a very good phone case.”

“I wanted to replace my current Snakehive wallet case as I wanted something less bulky, very impressed with the quality and feel of the case, feels like good edge protection and I really like the fact that the camera lenses are protected as well - no more heating that dreadful noise when placing my phone down! If I had to gripe it would be on the kickstand as it’s a good idea in theory but, the weight of the Pro Max is just too much for the stand in its current form, I guess time will tell but I already know it cannot be used in portrait without some very careful adjusting…”

Hi Ashleigh, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us your lovely feedback! If you are having trouble utilising the vertical kickstand, due to the size of the iPhone 13 Pro Max, the best way to get this to work is to prop it up with a slightly acute angle so that the end of the kickstand lines up with roughly the middle of the phone (similar to the images on the website), instead of opening it up fully (90º).
