The case has a wonderful smell of good quality leather, with a lovely texture as a result of the soft brushed suede. The case is a perfect fit for the phone. Hi Sally, Thank you for your feedback! We understand your concern, and we’d like to clarify that Nubuck leather is similar to suede in texture, but it’s actually a different type of leather. Nubuck is made from the outer layer of the hide and has a velvety, soft finish, which gives it a slightly suede-like appearance. However, it is more durable and has a finer texture compared to traditional suede. Over time and with regular use, the top layer of leather will begin to wear down and the case will develop a rich & smooth patina finish.
