Hi Gerald, Thank you for your review and for your purchase with us! We are very sorry to hear you are having trouble using your new kickstand. To open the kickstand, we’d suggest using a fingernail underneath the Snakehive logo on the kickstand. You should then be able to pull the kickstand out and start using this both vertically & horizontally, just like the images on our website! Please note that you may need to remove any magnetic accessories on the back of the case in order to utilise the kickstand.
