“Great sound and really handy to have a portable system with Alexa. Works well in the house and in the garden. Only thing to be aware of is to use a sufficient USB charger (2A, 10W) or may not charge properly. But great piece of kit!”

“I am really impressed by the sound quality and volume this speaker is capable of given its size (it easily rivals the HomePod mini). The voice assistant support is great, especially for a portable speaker, and hopefully it will eventually support Siri now that third party integration is opening up.”

“Lighweight and portable are the table stakes. In addition the battery life is pretty solid and finally the most important part - the sound quality is great for such a small speaker. Not hi-fidelity but then that's not the reason i bought it!”

“Ok, it breaks my heart to give Sonos a 2 star rating, but they have a major design flaw which just awful. The sound on these speakers are brilliant and I wouldn’t expect anything else from Sonos. They are cheaper than other Sonos speakers and very portable, but this means that I will only use my Roam speakers when I’m out and about. When you have other Sonos products and you open the app to control them, the Roam speakers turn on and stay on, so every time you want to grab your Sonos Roam speakers to use away from home or in the garden, the batteries are completely drained. This is honestly the most pointless function and it’s very frustrating. So for that reason, I can’t give more than 2 stars in this product. I really hope Sonos will fix this issue soon.”

“Great little device with quality sound. I already have a few sonos speakers dotted around the house but now having one which I can take to the garden or away with me on holidays is perfect. A little bonus from having this speaker is that I’ve now got it in the kitchen at the opposite side of the room to one of my original sonos one speakers. By having the two paired together within the app, I can now control the room using the Alexa on the Roam! The speaker volume on the roam does need to be a little higher than the one as it’s obviously not as powerful, but it’s a brilliant little portable device.”
