“The features & quality of music are excellent. I lose connection to it sometimes, which more often happens at the end of the day, which I can only really correct by re-setting it. This may be the protocol in the iOS of my iPhone6, as I notice that when the phone's battery is low and it goes into power save mode, the SONOS app may get restricted even if I can still open it. I sometimes get "application unavailable - try again later" message from SONOS. I will be hard wiring my system to my router once I get a few furnishings sorted out - this worked on my old Gen 1 system.”

“The speaker is great in every major aspect( built, connectivity options , looks, stability of the connectivity, the sound, the box it comes in, the after sale stand and the hanging option, the wireless dock and its grip and built, the tolerance against dust, temp, splash, the perfect weight balance ratio, the simplicity of the touch controls, the app interface, the humble cloth to protect it and the Trueplay. A wish could always be that soon we can connect to the subwoofer too. I get the reason why Sonos has not done it but for a buyer like me we only move the speaker in the house so it’s always in the spot/zone and wish to have more lows BUT ITS JUST A WISH”

“I was initially confused between getting the Beolit 20 and the Sonos Move. This is also because the team at SmartHomeSounds kept their price Match promise where I had seen the Beolit 20 for cheaper. This meant I could either get the Beolit 20 or the Sonos Move for pretty much the same price. The Sonos Move looks simple but feels premium. It was very easy to set up and the charging dock adds to the sweet look of this speaker. In terms of sound, my expectations were very high and I dare say that it match my expectations niche by niche. It helped me hear background sounds/instruments I have never heard before on tracks I have repeatedly listened to in the past. The sound clarity and instrument separation is so distinct and smooth to the ears. The bass is great at low to semi high volumes which is around the range I will use the speaker most of the times. So I am happy with that. I also love the ease of use if the Sonos app. Especially the feature of having to set the EQ which certainly works because it allows me to increase the bass and there’s a clear difference between the normal set up and the tweaked to your listening preference set up. The battery life is also pretty good even when playing at high volumes. It lasted long enough with ample battery life to go again without needed to be recharged. I also realised that the sound quality is not tampered with when the battery is low which is quite interesting compared to other speakers I have listened to. I also do not think it is heavy for short distances. The small design carve behind the speakers allows me to easily pick it up and drop it. However, I found that the bass tends to thin out at higher volumes even after adjusting the bass in the app EQ option. This is why I have rated it a 4/5 as bass is a major feature I personally like and pay attention to when it comes to speakers. Overall, I am happy with the product and hope to keep it for some years to come till something better is introduced into the market that’s convincing enough to replace this beauty and beast of a speaker.”

“Brilliant sound for a 'portable' speaker. Portable in the sense that you can move it fairly easily a short distance to enjoy Sonos performance beyond the confines of your home, but not really light enough to take on longer jaunts. I do, however, take it with me when driving somewhere as it's great to have the performance when sitting around a campfire. I have to also say, the customer service you get from SHS is second to none and they are now my goto retailer for audio equipment. Only taking a star off as it's not able to charge via the USB-C port from my power banks so I have to take my Roam with me as a backup for when the battery dies.”
