“There is still a place in the Sonos family for the Play 1 as rear speakers for TV surround sound. Although (in my opinion) the BBC doesn't broadcast enough surround in their own productions the width of 2 channel stereo on TV and even Radio 4 is miles better than just using the Beam.”

“The hardware is without doubt very good and aesthetically the speaker looks great. However, I am not sure that the software is as good as the hardware. Although the set up procedure was very straightforward, there is a lack of clear directions on operating everything once the set up is complete. I am finding things out by a process of trial and error.”

“Sonos Play One. Easy to set up, quality build, great sound, easy to move around house. Wake up to music, listen to music throughout the day and finally go to sleep listening to music. Yes I love music and my Sonos. Have several Play Ones, Sound Bar and Base.”
