“I was planning on just getting the Sonos Arc. But after seeing reviews including Smart Home Sounds YouTube review of the Arc with the Gen3 Sub. It was a no brainer to purchase them both. Whether playing music, movies or just live tv, the Arc and Sub combo sounds so good. Setting them up using the Sonos iPhone app was so easy. I’m holding off purchasing the rears to make it a full surround system as I’m keeping my fingers Xed that Sonos brings out up firing rears in the near future.”

The sound is first class and its ability to enhance the clarity of dialogue has made such a huge difference for me - I can now clearly distinguish what is being said. I am so impressed that I am now seriously considering paring the separates with a pair of One SL's. Everyone I have had contact with at Smart Home Sounds have been so helpful - your videos on YouTube are also really informative. “Wow..Where do I start..Let's start with the positive..Ohh wow!!! It sounds awesome ..there you go..thats why you buy this really..and perhaps equally important it looks gorgeous (like myself ) haha.. The spacial and wide sounds are amazing..overhead sounds are ok in my living room. I can't wait to add the surrounds in future. The negatives :well its seriously expensive..lack of instructions and staff knowledge about the bar at Sonos is not good...if you buy this item...and I definately recommend it if you have the money..I didn't..i saved up lol...if you do buy it then once you have everything connected on your tv settings switch on hdmi earc and go into advanced sound settings and switch digital sound out to passthrough or auto ..take it off pcm...otherwise atmos will not work..it took me a couple of days to figure this out.. Sonos could include a sound tone test instead of relying on 3rd party..I want to test my son's arc speaker by speaker...for total peace of mind ..a demo usb or a downloadable file in different formats to suit different TVs...It really isn't hard..and a demo file to be able to show off the new equipment to friends and family could be included ..it would also let the customer hear the full potential of this amazing peace of kit. Highly highly recommend this set up”
