“Life changing sound quality. Highly recommend upgrading to ND3 cartridge. Put the Octivarium album by Dream Theatre on and it felt like we were in the concert - Myung and Rudess were playing in the living room for us. The setup out of the box was easy. I did't need to use any tracking force gauge for adjustment. 2 turns of the counterweight after balancing the arm worked quite well. The manual guide is quite useful. Cheshire audio has a good setup guide Iinked here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIKtTj10OmA Connected the rega planar 2 to Naim Muso QB2 via Pro-ject Phono box. If you have tight space and do not want to clutter your living room but after a high quality setup this combination has an exceptional sound with an elegant look.”

“great service, quick delivery. just need more info on setting up the ND3 trtacking weight 1.75g, not sure what to set the anti-skate (0-2) on tone arm?”

“I like the way Rega operate. No money spent on advertising, all funding goes into the product, and word of mouth spreads. Press reviews are also key, and I don't believe Rega make a bad product as they are heavily invested in getting high quality products to us as the listener. I am always happy to support British companies like this, so stayed with Rega when I bought the P2 with the ND3. I was going to get the standard P2, but after talking with Smart Home Sounds, they advised me that the ND3 cartridge makes a good difference to the audio quality. The advice was not pushy, but inciteful and and the knowledge of the product was top notch. Well done SHS.”
