“I wanted to upgrade my old Project record deck, CD player and Arcam Alpha 3 amplifier with Sonos Port and speakers. Smart Home Sounds `(Tom) was very responsive to my technical queries and provided options for my upgrade which were competitively price. Following receipt of the equipment I needed some help to get the system working, clear information was supplied and enabled me to get the complete system working.”

“I was in two minds whether or not to buy a Sonos port. I had a good use for one, but the problem was the high price (in my opinion) for what it is. I just can't understand why it costs so much. Surely a fair slice of the tech inside one of these is also included inside say a Sonos One. You can buy two of those for the price of one of these. Surely the parts that aren't included in a One, doesn't come to the cost of an additional One! Anyway I bit the bullet and bought one, and for me it does an excellent job. It hooks my hi-fi separates into my sonos system and allows me to use Airplay2. I have a reasonably large open-plan lounge/dining room with the hi-fi in the dining area, and a Playbar, 2 x Play 3's and a sub in the lounge area. With them all going together it sounds superb. I also have Play 1's in other rooms and the option to route from the port to other rooms when using Airplay2 does what I wanted. I have given it 4 stars but it would have been five if it didn't cost so much.”
