“Purchased as a lifestyle audio device and being well accustomed to Bang & Olufsen products I had high expectations of this small bluetooth speaker. As a bit of background most of the rooms in my property have oak flooring and I have been drawn towards products which match the colour of the flooring, including wall lighting such as nanoleaf elements. The outside of the emerge speaker is an attractive real oak vaneer, shrouding a gold metal chasis housing the speaker. For it's duminitive size the speaker sounds good, bass is acceptable, mids and trebles clear, all types of music sound excellent. The ethos and philosphy behind the Emerge, and some other B&O speakers is Cradle to Cradle. Cradle to Cradle means you can easily upgrade it as technology evolves, if the battery runs out or if you want to change the colors as part of future-proofing products. Buying from Smart Home Sounds was easy, almost immediate dispatch and price was good.”
