“I have been through a few different (cheaper) brands in the past. Primarily use a changing poncho to wear over my suit to the pool to swim laps. Since I am in Hawai'i, this is something I do year-round, so it sees some love.
Problems I've had with other (cheaper) brands in the past have been:
~ Arm holes are too small/constricting
~ Pocket does not allow me to pass my dry clothes through
~ Too thick or too thin (never the right feel)
I went to T&C Surf after researching the BEST changing poncho brands to see/touch/feel the SLOWTIDE ones... then went online and found the Wharf Rat Grateful Dead one THEN SLOWTIDE sent me a coupon code. What could possibly stop me from buying this? NOTHING! And how stoked am I with the quality and the fact NONE of the problems noted above on the previous brands exist with the Wharf Rat poncho? TO THE MAX!

“We brought them to Hawaii. They are great for changing clothes in public. Very absorbent. Down side is they are pretty heavy n bulky. I needed to pack them in a vacuum bag. Love them still !”
