“First, let me say that I just love it. The colours are bright and it arrived as expected. It’s very well constructed and washed and dried just like a towel.
I purchased it for our shoulder season swimming, when the lake is cold, but you just don’t want to give up swimming just yet. Or you don’t want to wait for it!
To my surprise the poncho took on a whole new role for me. You see there is one aspect of swimming that I don’t like, and that’s trying to dry cool water off your body and then attempt to get dressed while still damp. Poncho to the rescue! I now remove my wet swimsuit and throw the poncho on, I’m covered, and able to rejoin the group. 10 min later, I’m perfectly dry enough to get dressed. It was quite lovely and an unexpected use during the warm months.
I’m looking forward to experiencing many other useful times and situations to use my poncho - like camp showers, and ocean swimming.
