“From what i heard the old formula (pale blue bottles) was a great product but required a fair amount of effort. The older generation always used to swear by Mer. I used this new wax along with the new polish on a couple of cars prior to winter (about 6-8weeks from this review) and have found that it was very easy to apply and buff off. Both cars have had a couple of intermediate washes ( just a wash) and the wax layer is still present by the beading in this dreary weather. Both cars are silver, and the polish brought out a great glossy pearly finish prior to applying wax. I applied Mer polish and wax after claying the cars and doing a swift decontamination and then application of Mer. Im quite happy with the products and so far the protection is holding up very well.”
