“Honestly, I’m surprised by the positive reviews. It is hydrophobic for sure, but it leaves horrible streaks. At first, I believed I may have used too much product, and actually had to buff off extra residue. The second time, I used literally one spray per panel, and washed each panel instantly, until the white water residue had stopped, and proceeded to jetwash the panel for another 30 seconds or so. Car looked great, until it dried - water marks all over it that look worse than the dirt I’d cleaned off. Sadly I’ll need to re clean the car again to get the marks off. It also leaves smears on the glass.”

“Easy to use, gives ok coverage and smells great. But expensive for the amount that’s needed. Bottle will do a couple of uses but it’s easy to use and does a job between polishes.”

“AF Aqua Coat is a product you simply spray onto a freshly washed car and rinse off, it doesn't get any easier than that, great product.”

“I was sceptical about this product at first but now love it. It does not replace a proper protectant wax. But for the summer, it’s just as good. The trick is not to over spray. A little goes a long way. Spray onto a wet car after cleaning, a panel at a time, then power spray off till the water runs cleanly off in beads. After 2 weeks and a few days of heavy downpour, the rain still beads nicely. All the road grime also wipes off easily with a micro fibre towel.”
