Are you actually having a laugh, asking me to write a review on an order that you cancelled because you refuse to post to Northern Ireland. Which I may point out is part of the UK!!

Thank you for your review. We would just like to reassure you that your account has not been hacked or any orders placed. We recently conducted an exercise to archive older orders, in the process of this a number of automated review emails were generated and sent to group of customers associated to previous orders. We have tried to go through and identify the affected customers and contact them but haven't made it through the list yet. Again, just to reassure you that your information is safe and secure. We are very sorry for any inconvenience it has caused. Thanks The Slim's Team

Fantastic bit of kit for the price . Pads are fine . There maybe better pads out there but these are fine for the hobbyist detailer

This is an excellent machine. There are of course more expensive ones available, but this one does the job very well for a reasonable price.

The short: Pros - Quick and easy to use. Easy to control. A great finish. Two sets of large foam pads, soft, medium, hard. Cons - Can get heavy working on the side panels. Very short power lead. Too short in fact. Tempted to open it up and put a proper, usable cable length on it. Large pads only? A set of large and small would make more sense The long: I've used this machine just twice in the last two weeks and I'm very pleased with the results. I've been polishing cars by hand for 30 years. I wished I had purchased one of these sooner. As an amature I will proberly only use this machine four times a year but I'm already looking forward to the next time. On the flats the machine makes easy work of the big areas. Doing the roof was easy but I wish the power cable was longer. An extension lead is needed but depending on the height of your vehicle the extension will be hanging off the ground. This is my only real niggle and for the cost of a longer power flex why didn't the manufacture provide a longer lead? Just four stars because of the cable length. Working on the wings and doors took much more effort. I'd suggest working the from the bottom up which is counter intuitive to all car washing and polishing but assuming the car is clean and or clayed shouldnt cause any major concerns. Your arms and shoulders will appricate this. Don't, I say again, don't lift the machine off the vehicle until it has stopped turning. You'll only do this once and if you do clean up the mess before the spay dries. It really is a case of little and often with the polish, wax, compound etc. The pads were easy to use, stayed in shape and were easy to clean afterwards. Having a smaller set would be advantageous especially for the lower door panels and bumpers etc. I guess it's a cheap fix but again the machine comes with both a large and small plate but two set of large pads only. Go figure. All in the machine is great value for money and I would highly recommend it. While the title? The kit was delivered with a nifty little blag bag that reminded me of the bags that old school doctors used to carry when making home visits. This in now my "go to" bag for all polishing needs and maybe some DIY sanding. Just call me doctor polish . . .

My first day so unable to compare but it's a very solid piece of kit in a easy to handle size. So far the results I've got have been spot on! The kit it comes with is pretty good given the very affordable package price and it all fito nicely into the fancy bag that was included too. I look forward to making many more things extremely shiny with it!
