“The house exceeded all of our expectations! There were few to no amenities within walking distance but that only affected us marginally. It would be fantastic if the host could provide gowns and slippers for the hot tub but appreciate this would add cost to future guests. An updated book of restaurants/takeaways would be good too.”

“Withymans is a truly beautiful house, very well thought out. Tastful decor. Lovely bedrooms with stand out features and comfy beds. Children loved the trampoline, hot tub, games room and fire pit. Lots to keep them entertained. Hosts were attentive and house catered well for home cooking. Lovely local milk and milkshakes available in reusable bottles from the local farm. Very nice complimentary tray of local produce for our arrival and natural toiletries in the bathrooms we a lovely touch and very well received. Our only issue while there was the road closure, it meant a long trip round when leaving the house but this is obviously out of the control of the owners. We were just unlucky the work was being done during our stay.”

“We were all bowled over by the property. It was so beautiful and spacious; felt very luxurious. Comfy beds, great baths and showers. Fantastic interior design. Love the Bramley products too. Enjoyed the trampoline and the hot tub. We asked for 2 travel cots and were lucky that one was available from another property so we could have 2 for our stay. However, both were very small cots (not average size). This was fine for our 5 month old but our 2 year old couldn’t stretch out. Luckily she always sleeps curled up so we managed. Advice for future is to tell customers travel cots you provide are smaller than average (and also have next to no mattress) so they can decide whether or not to bring their own. We couldn’t get TV to work on regular TV channels and also found it too big and positioned too high up the wall for easy watching. But just went and played in the cellar instead! Wished we could have stayed longer than just a weekend to fully enjoy the house; it was great! Thank you”
