“We had a fabulous family holiday at Hurstone in June 2022 Sleeps 12 & the Owner’s of the property were extremely helpful efficient & friendly in their approach to all our requests & requirements The location & weather proved a winner & the hot tub went down very well with our grandchildren especially as it was cleaned & attended to on a daily basis The fact that we should have taken this holiday in May 2020 due to COVID did not dampen our expectations of the holiday & we considered that Sleeps 12 pulled out all the stops & re-bookings to enable us to take the holiday break this year We would not hesitate to return to the Sleeps 12 team to hopefully book future family holiday breaks”

“Loved the house & location. Lots of spaces to spread out and snuggle up with a book, game. Fabulously well equipped kitchen with enough for large dinner parties and group cooking,. Chrys was a fab host and wood log fairy. The only downside was the hot tub which seemed a bit of an afterthought in location (no view) and surroundings. A shame as was a great addition which, a suggestion could be improved with landscaping or locating on the bank with a view over the wall into the valley.”

“As a family group of 15 the house was ideal in size and facilities. The kitchen equipment was on a catering scale. Hottub was immaculate but in a rather uninteresting site. The grounds were extensive. Bedrooms were very clean and beds (except for room 5) were comfortable. Good walks were available right from the front door. We all felt like lords of the Manor.”
