“The property was really well equipped, comfortable and clean. Finishing touches like homemade cake and presse’s on arrival was a really lovely touch. The farm was well equipped with games room and fantastic play area for children. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!”

“The whole week was amazing, beautiful traditional 1470 Farmhouse. Cake, fresh flowers, drinks on arrival. Everything provided in kitchen enough cutlery etc for everyone. Bedrooms and beds very comfortable. Hot tub was gorgeous. Only downside would suggest have a bit more outdoor lighting down to hot tub in darker nights and also possibly a canopy over the hot tub so you can use in rain/snow etc also. Very enjoyable stay to celebrate my dads 70th birthday. Thankyou to Philippa and Samantha and Sleeps 12.”

“Pippinsands is a spacious, welcoming farm house bursting with character and charm! The rooms are all a great size, everyone was happy with their rooms. The self contained area downstairs was perfect for us with our little dog as well. The garden is stunning as is the hot tub and surrounding fields / river walk. Plenty of family competition in the games room was had along with a game of rounders in the front garden. Phillipa was a wonderful host who clearly explained everything on arrival and came to see us when we left to check we had a great time, which we really appreciated. We were celebrating a family 21st and 80th birthday at the same time and it was the most perfect location for all ages to celebrate and relax. Highly recommend Pippinsands and would return in future!”

“The house was wonderful, roomy and very well appointed and equipped. The surrounding countryside was beautiful and made for a restful feel. Lots of room for children ( and grown ups) to play.”

“The house is lovely. The hot tub and play area were great. We enjoyed the games room. The bedrooms above the kitchen get too warm. The hot tub would benefit on having pergola over it with some solar lights around it and on the path for night time. Other than that we had a very enjoyable stay.”

“I have been unable to find an email address to send these comments to the owners, so I ask you to send them on. We really enjoyed our stay and the minor problems did not spoil it at all. I was was touched by the gift of champagne for my 80th Birthday celebration. I have already mentioned the bathroom light/shaver points not working in 2 bathrooms. The barbecue was too dirty to use but we managed with disposable ones. There were no implements for the wood-burner (tongs, poker)”
