“Hesdin Hall was superb - plenty of space and equipment. Needless to say, the pool, sauna and hot tub were popular venues. The Christmas decorations were a welcome addition along with the cake and mince pies. If it were not that it is already booked for next year, we would go again - are there any suitable alternatives? A wonderful experience for the whole family.”

“Hesdin Hall proved to be an excellent holiday destination for our family. We loved being able to use the hot tub and swimming pool in November, facilities were very good, space worked well for a wide range of ages and a lovely welcome. The property was very well appointed and very clean. We loved spending a week here and if we get the chance would definitely return. We would highly recommend this property .”

“Beautiful house, nice touches, note on arrival and sparking wine. Even a treat for the dog!! Spotlessly clean, lots of crockery etc. Enjoyed the beautifully decorated front room. We were lucky enough to have sun on Oct and went in the pool and hot tub and really enjoyed outside space . No complaints at all but as constructive criticism Needs more wardrobe space, and bed side tables Needs another fridge, or a wine fridge? Needs more light in the bbq area But all in all it was perfect so thank you. Also good service from sleeps 12.”

“The outside area as we were lucky to have good weather during our stay. Spent many hours enjoying the pool, hot tub, sauna and sunshine!!). All bedrooms with their own ensuite was great for a little privacy if wanted and getting ready on time! Laurie and Garry were friendly and extremely helpful throughout our stay. Nothing seemed too much of a problem. Kitchen was well equipped which made cooking meals easier. We were surprised that there wasn't a wine fridge which meant some of the fridge (large as it was) needed to be used to cool wine which, in turn, meant that it was a little bit of a struggle to store food for 8 adults. Think that if we were 16 it would have been a challenge. We used a couple of the couples mentioned on the website. Serenity Pamper for 2 pamper days (the first didn't go as planned but the company were swift to look to resolve the matter) and an outside catering company, 2 Simmering Pans (again from the website), come to the house for the celebratory meal. Laura and Oliver were professional, friendly and provided amazing food and a great experience. Overall we had a fantastic time, in a great venue with thoughtful and responsive hosts. Thank you, Sharron and guests.”
