“We had a fantastic stay at The Plough. It provided the perfect back drop for a weekend of celebrations for our wedding anniversary. Having the bar at the property was such a unique touch and one that all our guests enjoyed! The outdoor space was brilliant and with the weather we felt as if we were in the south of France sitting under the pergola enjoying drinks. The house has been finished to the highest of standards and was in an immaculate condition. Duncan was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend Sleeps 12 and The Plough to anyone!”

“Ease of booking and great communication from Sleeps 12 and Duncan & Helen the owners. We booked the Plough for a joint 50th birthday celebration, what an amazing property, ideal for a party, easily accommodated everyone but had a very homely feel. Would thoroughly recommend and most definitely will return. Top marks 10/10.”

“The property was absolutely amazing, it exceeded our expectations in so many ways! The communications before we arrived, the spacious venue itself, how well equipped it was with cutlery etc, end to end it was truly wonderful. My only wish is that there were more places like this throughout the UK! Thank you!”

“We absolutely loved the house. Such a beautifully done vast kitchen with really useful equipment and two dishwashers. Loads of crockery, glasses and serving dishes, even a good assortment of children's plates and bowls. Absolutely ideal for 20 of us! The pool table was wonderful to keep the older kids busy, the big TV was great and loads of sofa space round it for a chill out. We used the Sonos music system which we also have at home. The bar area was great for an evening of cocktails and the extra fridge space was handy to keep our wine cool! Every bedroom was very comfortable and we managed with one wheelchair user as he could do a few steps without the chair and we used the fire exit to get him in and out on to the terrace. We ate mainly outside using the lovely big table there and the bbq. Everyone took turns in the hot tub which was really great. Thanks so much to Duncan and Helen. They were great hosts and answered the few daft questions on email before we arrived with a sense of humour. We absolutely recommend the Plough and will be back.”
