“Really loved the location, the views and the high standard of the accomidation of Hill View, especially the bedrooms and the open plan nature of the living area. It would have been great to have more walks from the house mapped out. Maybe a page per walk so it could be taken with you, e.g. Blackberry Camp.”

“Loved the open plan feel of the property, we had great weather so we’re able to open all the bi-fold doors and enjoy the amazing views whilst sitting outside but still being involved in conversations from inside. I cannot fault anything about the property - the only thing I might change is a larger hot tub.”

“We had a wonderful stay but just a few things needed a tweek. In the bathroomd a mug for tooth brushes would be good as they were put straight onto a wooden shelf which is getting ruined. The towels were hard I was expecting soft white fluffy ones. A separate towel holder for the hand towel would be good as the towels were a bunched on the radiator. We bought chili with us and felt large pasta bowls would be good. There was no meat chopping boards (plastic), and no butter dish. Also a lack of bbq tools. Just one other suggestion is some sun loungers wouks be good.”

“Hill View is a really stylish property with quality bedding and good showers. Our three generation party enjoyed a lovely week. The hot tub has amazing views and the children loved the chickens.”

“We all agreed that the house was perfect and came with magnificent views over the beautiful Devon countryside and in such a peaceful location. The decor was very pleasing and layout to the house was spacious. Plenty of room inside and out to meet all the needs of our party of 13. We were there to celebrate my daughter's 40th Birthday and it was just perfect. My five grandchildren (ages 13 years to 8 months) enjoyed the outside for games and we enjoyed two evenings outside cooking on the BBQ. It was helpful having two dishwashers and the utility room was a real plus too. Plenty of room for food in fridges and freezers. The flowers were a lovely touch on arriving. My daughter had a wonderful time celebrating her birthday & we all agree that we'd love to come back to Hill View. Highly recommend this accomodation.”
